NIGHT LIGHTS GOINGS-ON/TIWWI STUFF
Hello dearest of dear friends,
This is What We Imagine’s “NIGHT LIGHTS” party benefiting 826LA went off without a hitch. (Took place July 25th.) A wonderfully perfect, wonderfully executed evening. Really. Sheesh. Greatest night of any greatest summer of any greatest generation of any greatest species of any greatest planet of any greatest universe and dimension and time and space.
Got it.
So below are several pictures of something I contributed to the event: Imagination Stimulations. An exhibit of gadgetry with varying degrees of ambiguity, functionality and imaginative realism. Whatever that all means. Enjoy!
Please please please check out more pictures and information about the evening over at TIWWI’s website. Yes, TIWWI has a real website now! (Thank you dearest friends Jim Hanft and Leslie Raymond for executing this.)
TIWWI hosted our 4th Weekend of Wonderment this past weekend (Aug. 15-16) and it went just splendidly. 7 projects total this time around (most ever), 4 video shoots, 1 film shoot and 2 photo shoots. We’re beginning to diversify! Yes! Anywho, please stay tuned over at TIWWI or join TIWWI’s mailing list for upcoming projects and events.
Lastly, some personal news this time around. I mean really. This is supposed to be a blog about things that I think and make and thus wish to share with you, but I think I frequently get caught up with the numerous, infinite goings-on with TIWWI that I forget the importance in self-reflection and such. So here’s what I’ve been working on:
-TIWWI (business side of things, upcoming projects, WoW4, Night Lights, etc.)
-A few new short videos I completed for WoW 4 which I hope you’ll all dig.
-A documentary about Night Lights (up here soon I hope)
-A feature script I’m really excited about and so might you be I hope.
Anyways, thanks for reading, take care!
adventurously,
Sam
